The Italian GLAUCOMA Society was founded with the aim of spreading knowledge about glaucoma disease: it is aimed at all ophthalmologists, especially young people, to raise their awareness of this disease, the guiding principles, diagnosis and medical and surgical therapy, the latter so far little known and widespread. For this purpose, S.I.GLA. is member of WGA (World Glaucoma Association), an international society which gathers the main Glaucoma Scientific Societies around the world.

Today it opens its doors to patients who increasingly feel the need to know all this, with specific video tutorials, a dedicated app and a section on this disease.
